Savannah Haze – Eco-Friendly Biodegradable Phone Case
Meet Savannah Haze by Tobi Akinyemi, a phone case that opens onto the Nigerian savannah at dusk. Tall grasses and acacia silhouettes rise against a sky shifting from warm ochre into a deep violet haze, the landscape held in that suspended moment just before dark. Painted in Tobi's signature digital gouache and watercolor wash on textured paper, with cinematic negative space and soft pigment blooms, it's a scene that breathes.
Made from PLA and PBAT plant-based polymers blended with natural bamboo fibre, this case is completely plastic-free and designed to naturally biodegrade in around 160 days after disposal. Built for everyday life with impact-absorbing protection, scratch resistance, a smooth matte finish, and wireless charging compatibility.

What case should I order?
With so many phones available from Apple, Samsung, and Google, it can be sometimes daunting to know exactly which case model to pick. If you’re not too sure, please revert to your phone’s manual or the “About Phone” menu on your phone. e.g. iPhone 15 has a few variants (15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max). Picking the right model is important as all our cases are printed to order, this is better for the environment and reduces wastage.
What phones do you do cases for?
We primarily have cases for Apple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixels.
Why Gloss or Matt finish?
This is purely your choice or preference. Generally, Gloss finish is shiny and does make the colors standout. Matt finish on the other hand, visible shows less scratches and not as shiny. Both are still stunners!
Why do the colours on my phone case sometimes look different from what I see online?
Colour variations can occur due to differences in device screens, display settings, and the print production process. While we strive for colour accuracy, slight differences between digital images and the final printed product are normal.

How do I handle my Bio-degradable Case?
Biodegradable materials behave differently from traditional TPU or silicone cases. As part of their more sustainable design, they are naturally less flexible and may feel firmer than conventional plastic alternatives.
- Avoid excessive bending, twisting, or stretching.
- Do not force the case onto or off your device.
- Biodegradable materials are less elastic than TPU or silicone and should be handled with care during installation and removal.
Bio/ Biodegradable Cases, are selected by customers who value a lower environmental impact.
These materials naturally behave differently from conventional plastics, and changes in flexibility and appearance may occur as the material ages.
These are normal characteristics of the material and are not considered manufacturing defects.
